Today I'm answering a question from a coach who wrote into saying..
"Hey Ben,
I legally set my business.
I have my insurance.
But I'm now stuck with what to charge clients!
Can you please help me? "
Now, this is a question I get asked all the time by coaches who are just starting up their sports business.
If you are a coach reading this and you're in a similar situation I want you to think about these 3 things:
1. Price
When you think about your price you can't base it off what other people do because those people might have more experience and more or less confidence than you at selling their program.
The way you have to look at it is based on what you are offering to clients and not what others in your area are charging. When I first started my business I made this same mistake! Normally if you follow someone's pricing who is cheaper than this may result in you attracting less clients into your program.
2. Breakdown your offer

Today I want to dig into a question I saw that is very common with many coaches and it's something that I have already experienced with my own coaching business. I've seen this happen to me in the past and yesterday this coach reached out and said..

Each day I look at the stats in my business and I look...
When you close your first client into your sports coaching business you will feel a high level of confidence that what you offer is actually needed in the market place.
If this is you I want you to continue reading.
Right now, I imagine the PRICE you are offering to your prospects for your service feels pretty comfortable and cozy over the phone.
I want you to run a test this week with your sports coaching business & let me know how it goes.
If you are doing 1-1 training, clinics, group training or camps (this applies to you)
1) I want you to start by changing a digit in your pricing for any new prospect.
- For example (if you charge $300/month)..I want you to change that to $400/month with your next prospect over the phone.
2) I want you to RECORD yourself saying the price.
The only difference is we are swapping the number 3 with a 4. Get into a new routine saying that to your prospects.
3) Don't overthink it. Just do...
