Over the past several years we have gotten on to the email list of the coaches that we work with in our business coaching program.
A lot of these coaches tell us that they want to start marketing harder with their business.
One of the things that we do at Make Money Coaching Sports is we teach coaches how to send emails to clients, and how to send emails frequently to their email list.
Over the last 3-years we have seen a big difference between the coaches who send out 1-3 emails per week compared to those coaches who send out 1-3 emails a MONTH.
Here's the thing - when you wake up in the morning you will probably have at least 10 to 20 emails that came in when you were sleeping.
Then during the day you're probably getting another 10 to 50 or probably more emails. You will get emails EVERY single day so you cannot be afraid to email clients and prospects about your offers.
This should be something that you do all the time!
If you need more help with your email...
Today I break down WHY it's important to become consistent with EVERYTHING you DO with your clients & deal with things head on.

Today I'm going to be answering a question from one of the coaches inside of my consulting program.
He wrote me a message saying:
"Hey Ben,
I'm starting the process of organizing my email list on Kajabi.
I'm getting all of my marketing set up and I'm starting to write some of my emails.
How often should I be hitting my email list throughout the month?"
My answer to this question is very simple because a lot of coaches think that just because they have an email list built over time and they are only writing one email per month that prospect will buy from them.
If seen many coaches who don't set clear targets with their email campaigns which means they aren't aiming for anything - they are just sending random emails now and again hoping that a parent will either buy or respond to one of the emails.
At the beginning when you're first starting off with your email list I would do one email per week and pick a set day and time to have the email go...
I got a question this morning from a Volleyball trainer called Michael who is based in San Francisco.
He says:
"Hey Ben, I've watched a lot of your YouTube videos and I'm also on your newsletter too! I have noticed that you don't talk much about Instagram or Tik Tok? Are these platforms you would recommend for trainers to use?"
I want to be clear here.. I would encourage anyone to be on any platform if they can stick with it for the long term and here's why..
I personally don't have Tik Tok and I try not to get too caught up with social media news as I like to stay focused on one platform and make that one platform the thing I put my time and energy into. Now, if you're an entertaining coach and you want to dance around and sing songs all day then I would definitely encourage you to use Tik Tok haha.
I am a calm person and I like to use platforms that go with my personality and I know will get me clients. This is a question most coaches don't ask...
Today I want to talk about running Facebook ads and whether you should run ads when you're starting your business.
Most marketers that you see on social media like to talk about running Facebook ads as though they will be the key to your success in business and that anybody can do it. But, the truth is without any knowledge or experience you may lose a lot of money at the beginning.

When you're just starting your business and even if you're already experienced in business I want to tell you that running Facebook ads can be good but what most coaches do is they run ads instead of contacting people.
The reality is if you run paid ads you will get a lot of people to be interested in what you do but at some point you're going to have to talk to them over the phone. In my group consulting program I discourage coaches at the beginning of their business from running any sort of ads...
Hey coach,
Today, I'm gonna show you how you can be more proactive with your marketing.
I will tell you, I see most sports coaches who know they're great at coaching and they also know that they can help clients get better and achieve great results.
What most coaches don't know is how to market themselves.
They'll create a fancy website and just sit back and think that prospects are going to contact them to train with them instead of thinking that THEY need to market to get the prospects to train with them.
Prospects simply coming to you has never worked like that with any coach I've helped because a website is not going to to be the thing that gets you a lot of clients, it's all about being proactive with your marketing.
I'm going to talk to you about a few examples that I know will really help you in the beginning of your business.

What's up coach!
Welcome back to our blog.
Today, I'm going to be talking about how to stay ahead with your marketing with your sports coaching business in 2021.
Over the past couple of years I have:
Written emails every week
I've recorded videos every week
I've generated sales appointments with prospects every week
All these things have happened while I'm actively away from my office and not working.
For example, while I'm writing you this blog I have emails going out to coaches in my Board Room Mastermind consulting program. Also, while I'm writing this blog I have parents in my soccer coaching business who are visiting our website to register onto our program.
I automated everything within my coaching businesses because I didn't want to have to shoot videos every day or write emails every day.
I like to set things up to where I have more free time to spend with my family and especially my wife, and I want this for your business...
